Hake portions with coriander pesto and a seeded crumb topping. Sounds delicious doesn't it. Yeah that's what I thought, but what they forgot to include was the wording "infused with ammonia". Bought this item this past weekend and chose to have it on the Monday evening. Plated it on the oven tray, and at the time I thought it smelled suspiciously fishy (which is usually a tell tale sign that it's off), but proceeded to bake it for the suggested time anyways. When it was done (I was starving at this stage) I had 2 mouths full and got "that smell" again. Brought it close to my nose to have a good sniff and it definitely smelled of ammonia. I naturally binned it.
I shop at Woolworth nearly every single day and they get it right 95% of the time in a way that the other shops don't. So just doing my duty to civil society. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
