I tried to return a sale item without a till slip. I bought my items on my woollies account so I naturally thought they can pick up my item on my history of purchase.. But their systems according to Lerato can't pick this up. In this world of technology I am shocked that a multinational company like Woolworth does not have a proper system in place. The management at Woolies Cresta refused to credit my item and Insubsequently left the item in the store and walked out as I can't wear the item. I am now closing my account with Woolworths. My average spend at Woollies is R5000 per month. Woolworth is losing a customer over an item that is worth a mere R100.
