Bad attitude and hygiene

I ordered a meal of fish and chips. after i finished eating the first fish, i started eating the second fish. i discovered that the second fish does not taste the same as the the first one i ate, i then smelled it and gave it to my partner to smell it, and we both discovered that the fish was rotten as it was stinking. i then called the waiter passing by to smell it as well. he smelled it and confirmed that it was indeed rotten. he advised that we call hte manager.

when the manager came, i asked him to smell/ taste the fish. he refused to do that before us, he said he would do it in the background (he did not even appologise for anything). he then took the food to the background and returned with another half fish which was clearly no the one we smelled. he told us the smell was form the first fish that i already ate. i then asked him what is the next step, he told me to go to the DR and bring him medical bill (Still with a rude and non apologetic tone).

he then said i should pay for the food that i already ate.

hence the embarrassment this situation caused me on my Anniversary day.
