Bad Seafood Sold at ParkMeadows Fruit and Veg City

I recently bought a pack of frozen calamari from the said shop. It did not have a packed date or an expiry date.
IT had ice crystals all over the calamari.
When i tried to wash it, the water was so foamy n slippery and had a strong ammonia smell. i still thought evrything was ok and cooked it. but my pot turned black inside.. and the smell and taste was repulsive.
I do not believe that this was a mistake coz i still see lots of packets of the same product on teh shleves.
I think fruit and veg is trying to sell bad quality seafood. The use of ammonia to preserve bad seafood is against the health and safety of customers.
I hope teh maanagement addresses this issue!
