I've been a huge fan of the quality of meat I get from Checkers for the last two years. Unfortunately the quality is rapidly declining. It started with the pork. 6 days from the expiry it smelled horrific. They exchanged with an apology. Next I bought aged rump smelled sour right out of the packet. Then a T bone samething and now lastly a I bought to porter house steaks. All smell sour right out of the packet. Perhaps the fridges are to warm or when meat arrives it's not going into the fridges quick enough. All I can say is that today was the last time. The meat smelled horrible soft to the touch like really good meat should feel but the smell is off. I hope I get a response to this mail. If not Pick and Pay across the road just got all my business and everyone I know of in the neighbourhood.
