Game
05.05.13

I purchased my Samsung 40" LCD tv on the 12.08.11. On the 20.03.13 the screen just turned blue. I reported it to Game in the Pavilion which is where i made the purchase. My details along with my TV details were taken, I was advised that i have a 2 year warrantee and a technician will be sent to my house to repair the TV.

On the 14.04.13 i the phoned Game again to enquire about when my repairs will be done, i was then told that i have to bring my Tv into the store to book it in. The Samsung rep then gave me further bad news saying that he was not certain about the period of my warrantee and i might have to pay for the repairs, i was told that the repairs would take a maximun of 21 days. Last week i received a call saying that my TV was out of warrantee and that i would receive another call with the amount of the quotation.

To date i have received no feed back and i think it is totally unacceptable to sit for almost two months with no TV and still have to pay my DSTV bill every month.

I purchased a Samsung because i am loyal to the brand was under the impression the i will receive outstanding customer service should I encounter a problem, but clearly i was mistaken.
