Gives a all clear without checking property

Yesterday I had an alarm activation, I was not home so asked control room to send a car. I then beat the ADT car home as it took them over 15 minutes. I parked down the road waiting for ADT to Arrive.

I phoned control room to ask which zone activated, and asked about them sending a car. They told me the car was there, he was not. I saw him arrive shortly afterwards, he rang the door bell, when no one answered, he looked around the corner, rang the doorbell again, and left. The control room then called me to say all clear. Knowing he had not checked, I specifically asked, "Did he check all around my property" They replied yes he did.

How do I, and ADT know there was not someone hiding inside. An intruder will NOT answer the doorbell. WHAT IF IT WAS JUST MY WIFE AND KID ARRIVING HOME TO MEET AN INTRUDER? AFTER THE ALL CLEAR WAS GIVEN BY ADT.

I entered my property. Then the ADT guard that had left drove passed, and seeing us stopped. Only then when I asked him to, did he walk around my property. BUT, if he did not come back, we would not have known for sure.
