Chubb sell their services under the premise that they have sufficient staff & vehicles, to boast that their average response time to an alarm activation is under 5 minutes.
They also sell their services under the premise that all their vehicles are GPS equipped so that their drivers waste no time in getting to the correct destination.
On average over the last 14 months I have experience a response time of 22 minutes or more.
Today an alarm activation occurred while I was off site, their control room called to inform me of the activation, and that they would send out a vehicle for a on site inspection at 07:43 after not receiving feedback by 08:05 I took it up myself to contact the control room for feedback. at 08:09 they called back to inform me that a unit had just arrived and that all seemed well!
When I complained about the time taken to respond - the operator told me i must understand they have a shortage of vehicles...
They have used this excuse each time i query the length of their response time. - Today i was told we have a shortage of vehicles and there is nothing they can do about it.
