Now I've heard everything.
I have been driving myself up the wall with Chubb Rustenburg since November to get my alarm system repaired. This was eventually done after more than a month. This weekend we had a power failure and when the power returned I was contacted by the call centre informing me of an burglar alarm activation. I told them there was no alarm and that I was in the house at that moment. They cancelled the alarm. I asked them to please log a call for technical support to sort this out. No call was logged. Last night the same thing happened. Power restored, false alarm activation, nothing in my house, not even a siren. I asked them again to log a call. This was at least done this time. This morning I was contacted by Jolene from Chubb Rustenburg, I explained the situation to her and she informed me that it was normal for the activation of a burglar alarm after a power failure.
In the last year I had two instances were I waited for service from Chubb Rustenburg for more than a month. I'm at this point going to cancel my contract today.
