I booked in my vehicle for a tracking device installation on the 3rd of October at the fitment centre at 44 stanger street durban. After 2-3 hours, i was called to come pick up my vehicle as the installation was complete. I left in ignorant bliss thinking that i was now safe, protected and covered should there be an unfortunate event of my vehicle going missing.
Imagine my surprise when i called the netstar offices to do a random testing of my unit, while my vehicle was in motion and i was told that they could not track my vehicle as there was no unit installed or found in it. This therefore meant that the tracking device that they had told me they had installed in my car was either not working or had never been installed at all.
Besides the fact that i was misled into believing that i was safe and covered, what frustrates me even more is that I will now be charged for this tracking unit which had never worked or even installed in my car. This essentially means that i will be robbed because i will be paying for a service which was never rendered.
I am beyond disappointed!!
