Netstar owes me compensation for faulty unit

I installed the tracking unit in my car when I purchased it in September 2011. For the past two days, I have tried calling Netstar to test whether my unit is still functioning properly. The first person never called me back. Yesterday I called again and they tell me that they are not getting a signal. My question is for what have I been paying Netstar for almost a year and a half? Don't they get any type of info if the unit fails to send signal? I have made so many calls that I have now lost count. The worst part is that all their fitment centres are fully booked and cannot send any technicians out today and even the fitment centre that installed my unit cannot help me until next Wednesday. This is very unprofessional and unsafe because if I get hijacked or if my vehicle gets right now, Netstar will not be able to assist, yet i have been faithfully paying them to track my vehicle. Maybe I need to take legal action to claim my refund and move to another Tracker.
