We have 3 vehicles fitted with Netstar Tracking device, one of which is a Ford Ranger. We sold one vehicle (Colt) on the 10th December 2013. So I informed Altech Netstar of the sale and requested that I want to remove the unit. They referred me to CVT Tracking in Umhlanga. So the unit was removed from our previous vehicle on the 11/12/2013. We advised the technician that we are purchasing a new vehicle and we want the united to be installed into the new vehicle. that installation was done on 18/12/2013. Just called Altech Netstar "customer service" and spoke to Pumzile (who refused to give me his surname). The previous vehicle is still on their system, they have absolutely no record of the new vehicle on their system. I gave Pumzile the details of the new vehicle which is also a Ford Ranger. He replies that they already have a Ford Ranger on their system from last year. Helllooo!!!!!!! We just purchased another Ford Ranger. He attempts to transfer me to his "SUPERVISOR" and the call gets disconnected very conveniently. He verified my details to confirm the account and should have had the courtesy to call me back.
Altech Netstar is one huge disappointment!
