My mom, is a pensioner & very capable driver. On 2nd July 2013 she was parked at Keywest Shop Centre at the Capitec bank entrance in a disabled zone as she has a very bad problem with her leg after breaking it & she is recovering after having three heart attacks in Jan 2013. Her car, an immaculate Mercedes that my brother bought her was switched off and stationery. A SBV CIT Vehicle - WZB 789 GP with a broken petrol flap parked her in as they always just double park outside the entrances & reversed scratching her back bumper with this loose hanging flap. My mother & a witness took the details of the vehicle and called the "REPORT MY DRIVING " number on the truck. My mom was given a ref number & told to get quotes for the damage repair. She then called a man that everyone calls Oom Basie and she was told to contact the companies insurance. Teresa at MCB called once and never called back. That was then left at that with NO FURTHER SERVICE AT ALL. Now after we have had the repairs done as my brother did not want the car to deteriorate and no one had bothered to contact us they are saying the driver disputes this. OBVIOUSLY - but now we are being told they will not pay for damage
