Myself and family were held at gunpoint last night.
4 black south Africa males with guns and 1 female broke into the house and held myself and a friend at gun point while the others tried to get into the main house area where my senior citizen family members were.
they were kicking the doors point guns at everyone, but luckily with swift action from a family member they triggered the alarm and called the police and called ADT, the control centre told him to hold on, the adt guys had they come when the alarms were signalled or even 10minutes after they would have caught them. even with the alarms on the criminals did not get scared or even act, the 1 criminal still had the audacity to shout out to the other to bring tools as they couldn't get 1 of the tvs off that was mounted off the wall.. the adt guy who conveniently came after friends and than cops because even the cops response was pathetic, but the ADT guy claimed ther was traffic on a sunday night in our very quiet suburb that is the reason why he was late, he was the first to know of the incident while it was happening, but he was the last to arrive. we could have lost our lives.adt are and no1 should use them.
