Sunday 8pm and we press our panic button 3x as our nanny had been held up at gunpoint. I have now called TActical reaction services for Carlswald an hour later after calming her and my family down. Dumelo in the control room answers and acknowledges the 3 panic alarms received on their side and tells me they have not yet dispatched a vehicle due to the high number of calls received in the area. Horrified I ask him if they then don't think to make calls to those houses they are to dispatching vehicles as this is emergency alarm and he says no. I ask if there is a supervisor who is aware of this and he says yes supervisor is in the control room with him and aware of this. I am horrified were it have to have been a life and death situation. Is this the kind of service/response I am paying a monthly premium for. This is a scary predicament. Nearly an hour later the patrol van comes to my house. Justin, the guard on duty is shocked that the control room have responded in the manner above. He says an hour later is too late to assist and he would have been able to had the control room phoned him in time to despatch his vehicle. This really is pathetic.
