Armed Response Failure

On the 31 December 2013 our alarm went off at our home. An agent from ADT called to find out if they should send someone over to check if everything was ok, that was around 14:00. We arrived at home around 14:45. Up until then no one confirmed that is was safe, but we nevertheless entered the house. We noticed that the wind might have been the reason for the alarm being triggered.

At around 17:00 we left to the shop. On our return we found the ADT vehicle parked in front of our house. The patrolling officer completed his full check and assured us that everything was fine.

Let me summarize my complaint around 14:00 the alarm is triggered... past 5 ADT arrives. That is a full 3 hours. If we were in the unlucky position and it was a real house break in we would have nothing left. Our house would be left completely empty and I wouldn't want to think about a situation if my family was in the house at the time.

We pay for armed response on a monthly basis including the ridiculous yearly increase. And we are forced to be satisfied with pathetic service! I'm very upset of the service received from ADT.
