My car was and I managed to recover it by myself. For a year I thought I my car would be recovered should it be. However for almost 24hrs I was sent from pillar to post by the recovery agents at your call centre. Even after I had recovered the car, I still got SMS that y'all are failing to recover the vehicle. Instead I was told that you guys have to remove and reinstall another device as the one installed wasn't working properly. As if that wasn't enough, when I had a technician over to install the device, I got a call from some lady called Lerato from Tracker telling me that they need to send a technician to install another device. That confirmed why you never got any signal from the car, your office itself lacks internal communication. I received an SMS every day for a week after recovering the car. I really doubt there is such a thing as a tracking device in the car. Worst I do understand the logic around reporting the matter to SAPS first before the device can be activated. But what happens if I'm hijacked at gun-point? When I go to the nearest police station, I would be told that its not within their jurisdiction!
