I has my vehicle on the 29th of JULY this year 2013.
To my great dissapointment I had no time to respond to the alert that was sent to me by Matrx.
As per agreement with matrix, you will be called if your car moves without the disk they provide you being in 5mm radius of the car.
The car was taken in Illovo on the eve of the 29th of JULY. I was ONLY sent as sms to let me know the car has moved - obviously without me as the card was not present and the alret went off.
The comapany then noticed that the UNIT went power down - this means that the tracking unit is no longer working and is broken or been disabled or removed, I WAS ONCE AGAIN ONLY SENT AN SMS - surely this is a alrent of note!!!
I then found my car 2 hours later, and alerted Matrix myself, I COULD HAVE RESPONDED REARLIER IF I WAS CALLED, AS PEOPLE DO NOT ALWAYS HERA SMS AND THIS IS ON THE CONTRACT..
It happens to be very convienant for the car that I was not alerted by a phone call which gave them ample time to move the car and disarm the tracker.
I have called and was sent an incident report that states this..no answers to my question, why was I not called??
