Car. Found by Matrix, insurance wrote car off. At the time, recovery team advised me device had been tampered with & unit is no longer operational. 26 Apr'12, Matrix mailed me re: upgrading system & renewing contract etc, told them car was written off. Didnt receive any other communication since. Have realized they are still debiting me, device isn't even working/exist! Phone customer care: said I never wrote letter asking to cancel. Have to give 1 month notice (Have already paid for the last 8/9 months for service I dont have?) Tried to explain I had told the other person the car was written off. They asked me to forward proof of email to cancellations, I did (as CC) but addressed the mail to employee who originally mailed me, told her what happened/why didnt she explain I was going to be paying still - that I had to deal with a different dept? Also CC mail to customer care. No response from either, conveniently received email from employee - all of a sudden explained old unit would only have been removed from their system if I 'fitted & loaded new unit'. This wasnt mentioned in any emails. Very clever tactic: Misinform, take money & keep quiet, when u realize, blame client
