I requested a quote from ADT and received a sms confirming the appointment (reference number 170513). The sales person who was allocated the call was Wiseman Ngwenya. I then received 2 further calls from 2 other salesman claiming that Mr Ngwenya had asked them to attend the appointment instead and requesting appointment time details from me. I requested that they get that information from Mr Ngwenya. This irritated me as it seems an unprofessional handover from the start. The 2 sales staff that eventually visited my home and promised me a quote have not delivered that quote. They visited on Tuesday evening and promised to email me a quote yesterday morning. I have not heard from them again! The salesmen that visited did not leave me their contacts details. One of the gentleman had an ipad with him but took my details down on the back on an ADT advertisement. Again, not that professional. The salesmen neither wear uniform nor offer any identification to the prospective client when entering the client's home. Perhaps they were artists scouting for potentially vulnerable clients? Or perhaps ADT just don't need the business?
