Change of venue results in loss of tickets

I would like to share my deepest disappointment with regards to the change of venue for the Metallica show in Cape Town. We purchased our seating tickets the day the sales opened. When the change of venue was announced, we were told that exchange was not needed. Yet today we got a sms saying that we have to go and exchange our tickets. At the comuticket we were informed that no tickets were available for the 24th anymore. I then phoned computicket. The telesales lady said to me that she knows that it is unfair, as many other clients also received the text only today whilst others received the notification a week ago. She also said that we will just have to go the 2t5th or upgrade our tickets by R400 to be able to go on the 24th. We have planned this months in advanced, and I think it is outrageous that some people were informed and others not and that we just have to accept it. The lady told me it is "first come first serve". How is that logical when everyone was not informed at once and when we were the first ones to buy our ticket many months ago. This is unacceptable!!
