I was so excited to see Metallica and bought 2 of the cheapest tickets for my husband as they are his favourite, the tickets cost me R295 each, i got an sms to say the venue had changed which is frustrating as i had arranged acomodation close to the stadium.i went to checkers to change the tickets to be told that the tickets at Veledrome are R450-WHAT ARE THEY CRAZY? the sms i had received "ticketholders with GC and seated tickets for metalica at cape town stadium will not be permitted entry to the bellville veledrome on these tickets and they have to do an exchange before 24april."exchange to me means swap not pay more, i feel that this is a violation of my consumer rights and they should honour their contract, as besides the venue now being inconvenient it is out of my reach financially, and i have to disapoint my man due to no fault of my own.i did get a refund as checkers lady said that was the best she can do... i would think its fair to be offered tickets at the veledrome for the amount i originally paid.
