When we heard that Metallica was coming to South Africa, we were one of the first people to do a booking, as we didn't want to miss this experience. In the week of 2 April we were informed via sms that the venue has changed from Cape Town Stadium to the Bellville Vellodrome. We were asked to take a refund or to exchange the tickets for the venue. Obviously we decided to exchange the tickets, but when we got to the ticket sales on 6 April, we were informed that not only was the 24th of April sold out (already put in leave), but we also had to pay R65 extra for other tickets on 25 April, because the tickets in our range were sold out! This is absolutely pathetic, they opened the ticket sales again for new customers, and we who had good seats and have already paid months in advance now have to pay more or cancel the tickets. I decided to cancel the tickets and rather buy a live concert DVD with the difference in price. I now understand why international artists don't want to come here. I will never support Computicket again!
