BE CAREFUL YOUR BANK DETAILS

Very disappointed with DSTV Multichoice. They have serious problems dealing with personal information and data security. I closed my account back in November 2012 when I left the country. After speaking to one of the call centre adviser, I was recommended to sell the decoder as the service was closed. In January 2013 the person who bought the decoder managed to re-activate using his name (change of ownership) and link the DSTV service using my bank details (previous owners bank details) even though he didnt know my full name, dob, addresses and etc. After seeing amounts been deducted from my account by Multichoice, I called and reported MISUSE OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND BANK DETAILS. They said an investigation would be taken seriously and all services would be cancelled straigh away. Last month, they deducted again, I called the services again on three occasions, this month of April same story and keep on happening even though MISUSE OF MY DATA has been reported 2 months ago. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND THIS COMPANY DOESNT TAKE YOUR PERSONAL DATA SERIOUSLY.
