Long story short: Ordered the Explora decoder. A week after NO delivery I received an sms stating my decoder was delivered. I phoned DSTV OnAir just to learn my ref # was linked to another account. DSTV couldn't verify my details by ref # or cell number, that too was linked to someone else' account. I cancelled the order and they assured me it won't happen again. Spoke to some arrogant manager from DSTV OnAir who told me the info I gave was incorrect. What a load of bull! @#$! Ok, so I ordered it again and delivery was 5 working days later. Tried to active by phoning MultiChoice and gave up after 2 hours of not getting hold of the call centre. I phoned a different department at MultiChoice requesting them to phone me back. Eventually that was sorted whereby I was told I need to get an approved installer out to link my current PVR with the new PVR.Made an appointment with ATV Services for Saturday the 2nd of November at 12:00.At 13:00 I phoned them to find out if they're still coming. I was told they're busy in Midrand and will take another hour or so. I'm still sitting with the extra view I had before which I'm paying for. Is this the type of service we can expect from MultiChoice???
