Booked in 24/3 (Ref 11962270). room 2319 Cecilia was rude and unfriendly. She did not greet only held her hand out for our paper, bark at us, ID, Card, Cash, disappeared into the back for almost 5 min. I asked her for a room near the Swimming pool because of kids. She said all rooms are near Swimming pool. we got 4th LAST room at the end! Almost near the Hotel! The room OMW. The closet smell like fish, the bathroom basin did not release water. The Sleeper couch had a tear at the bottom and the stuffing were sticking out. The fridge did not cool our drinks, Huge thorns were on the grass before our room, you could not walk outside, I stepped in the dark into one when I moved the outside deck chair. We did report this to Cynthia. The bus drivers for VC and Palace don't allow you on the bus if you asked for Cabanas, THEY DRIVE past the HOTEL and CABANAS? The Valley of Waves beach was enjoyable, but children's pool was dirty. Paper, clumps of hair and cigarette were floating in the pool. The smoking area is NEXT to the kiddies pool?! The bathrooms was so dirty it smelled of old hygiene pad's, staff uses toilets chatting and don't close doors.
