I purchased a deal at the end of last year for 1 night at Fairways Boutique Hotel in Salt Rock for R799. I never normally buy accomodation deals but I went onto the Fairways Boutique hotel website which looks phenomenal - completely false advertising! The website shows endless pictures of the ocean, talks about each room having it's own balcony, having a pool and jacuzzi, spa, and website really looks 4 star which they claim they are. The reality: absolutely no view of the ocean at all, somebody's house that has been converted into a hotel, no management around in 24 hours, 2 African ladies that serve the guests, the balcony from the room looks onto neighbours roof and the GREEN swimming pool of the hotel, and is the same balcony that is joined to all the other guest rooms so your neighbour actually walks straight past your room. So much for 4 star, there was not even any shampoo in the bathroom!! This deal was completely misleading, if that is 4 starts then the Beverley Hills must be 11 stars. Needless to say we checked out early and went to the Beverley Hills to have breakfast to celebrate our anniversary which was supposed to be spent at a special place on the Friday night.
