My wife and I won tickets to Sun City through our work. Air fair and accommodation included. We arrived last week Friday morning at the main Sun City Hotel for our stay. Saturday morning we visited the Valley for the waves where they had a function there. We were apparently supposed to have been notified on arrival at the ticket booth at the Valley of the waves that IF we stayed at the hotel NO CHARGE would have been asked but they DID NOT. We paid R240 entrance fee for myself and my wife. 10 minutes into walking into the Valley of the waves my wife tripped on a step and fractured and sprained her ankle and foot. After taking her to the clinic in Sun City i asked the manager at the Valley fo the waves if we could be refunded as it was unforeseen circumstance for us leaving after 10 minutes yet still paid full price when we weren't supposed to have paid in the first place. The manager in charge flatly denied us our money back and told us to come back for free next time we come to Sun City since its against policy to give refunds. WE STAY in Cape Town and there is no way we can afford to go back. I FEEL under the circumstance the refund shouldve been paid back in all fairness!
