On new years day we went to Sun City valley of the waves. We stood in a que to enter the valley of the waves from 11:15 till 1:45 in the sun. As you know no food or drinks are allowed in. The is no umbrellas provided until the last 5 meters. The que is such a bundle of pushing people no one knows where they are in the que and to make matters worse I stood in the que with my 2 boys (11 and 12) The ticket counter were taking people to buy tickets from outside the que, who then buy 10 ticket at a time and people then push from behind to get to the front 'coz they have tickets/bands' It is so unfortunate that a 'fun, family destination' such as this has become this unpleasant. Sun City clearly expected crowds as searches were done from the busses to the valley entrance, where as on the 2nd and 3 rd just searched at the valley of the waves entrance. So in expecting the crowds why don't you anticipate ques and be better prepared for them? Also have more drinks carts inside the venue, waiting in ques for food and drinks for an average of 40min to an 1:30 hrs is no fun at all.
