Self service not working

DSTV is going backwards!!! I used to be able to connect and disconnect my Holiday house DSTV from my computer. The connecting part ceased to work about a year ago! The disconnect function used to work. Now I see that functionality has been removed all together!!! No notification or explanation at all. Very poor DSTV...
