Poor Service at Boardwalk Hotel

We went to the Boardwalk hotel for lunch this afternoon. It wasn't at all busy. We ordered drinks then food. I ordered a toasted club sandwich and specifically asked for NO mayo. A simple request. I wasn't the only one at the table with a change to the food. The food came just over an hour later a bit pathetic for an empty 5* hotel. My sandwich was untoasted and smothered in mayo. I sent it back. The manager Ms Ficks apologized & said it'd be out shortly. The new sandwich came, toasted, but again with mayo. I then sent it back. The manager again apologized & offered a glass of wine, I declined as I'm pregnant. The chef also apologized & said it was being remade. After another 15 minutes I requested it be wrapped up as takeaway as the rest of the table was done. The take away came & I opened it to check & was sorely disappointed to see mayo yet again on the sandwich. I handed the takeaway back to the manager & asked for her to take it as I wasn't eating it with mayo. We paid for the sandwich which was made wrong 3 times & I never did get to eat 2 hours later. This service is just shocking. I would've never expected this from a so-called 5* hotel. I'm so disappointed.
