I don't usually shop at Canal Walk as it's quite a distance from where I live. However today I needed to see Iron Man 3 that was not playing at the Waterfront. On entering Canal Walk, I spoke to a security guard (wearing a red jacket) and asked him where Ster Kinekor was. He looked at me as I were speaking another language. Anyhow, I don't have time for incompetence - so I proceeded to Information Management who told me that there wasn't Ster Kinekor, only Numetro. So I went to Numetro and found some stupid sign that said "closed due to technical difficulties" - anyhow I managed to find someone to open up the shutters so I could buy a movie ticket at 08:48am - 12 minutes before the movie was going to start. Couldn't buy popcorn - because some other problem occurred. Then I entered the cinema and found the following: seats are uncomfortable - they're designed as if you're driving - there's a massive illumination inside the cinema - a bright light that lights up some stairway that never switches off. I eventually found out that rows A and B didn't have the worrying light to distract me. Not impressed with this awful experience!
