I have been paying DSTV subscriptions since January and was asked to bring the PVR decoder in to upgrade my smart card. Same night onwards, the decoder started freezing. Reported to Hellopeter and got a lip service call from a so called assistant GM who promised to do tests on the signals from her side to check signal. I called out a DSTV approved technician at my own cost to confirm the aerial is fine. This evening I take the decoder to Randburg office as per my last Hellopeter comment and a line manager by the name of Deidre de Ruiter refuses to listen when I tell her that a technician must test the Decoder. She cared even less when I told her about my six month hellopeter complaint. She has a bad attitude refusing to hear my frustration, tells me there is nothing wrong with my decoder after 10 minutes of testing. My boys are waiting outside karate lessons in the cold and are angry. Get home and decoder works fine for 40 minutes then channels freeze again. I am very unhappy with DSTV customer care. The changes forced onto me are causing me frustration and hardship. No more lip service please. Just fix up your mess. Very Unhappy, misled and frustrated customer.
