Multichoice
Wrong billing

I terminated my account in November 2012 because I had tenants moved into my house in December 2013. the Tenant switched on the decoder without my consent. I don't know how she did nit because you need an id number etc. She paid for December R400. My decoder was faulty so I did not switch it on until today the 2nd of May when I found out that the account is in arrears of R1400. I did not sign a debit order. I phoned the customer care but they cannot give me answers for which months this account was for. The tenant moved out the 19th of February which means the decoder was still on end of February when my husband moved in HOUSE END of March the decoder was off. Why did dstv let the account run into arrears. I know from experience if you do not pay your account for the month beginning they switch the decoder off by the 2nd of each month. I want to switch my decoder on unless I pay R1400. I don't have that money. dstv left the decoder on knowing that the account was in arrears. Customer care said to me when dstv see that you pay your account regularly and if you do not pay for that month they leave it on as courtesy because they can see that Im paying regularly. No sense in that.
