When a previous brand Salt chlorinator cell packed up after 10 years service, I opted for Zodiacs Tri Midi after reading about its high performance and low maintenance, and advice received of its superiority over other products. It happen to be an expensive product and I thought it would be a good investment but i am a bit disillusioned about the investment choice I made. I was told to contact the pool company to assist me. The product is still under warranty, and on a Pro rata basis I believe now that a year period has passed. I was quoted by the pool company R3100 to replace my cell, and the pricing takes into account my warranty. I am rather shocked at this pricing which proves that a product under your warranty would not necessarily save a person money when trouble arises. I opt not to invest in a Zodiac product again due to the quality of your products and service your products provide over time, just like the trouble I had with all my piping on the MX8 which uncoiled.
Had I known how your warranty works at the begin, and the costing of repairs/replacement in the event of trouble, the Tri Midi would certainly not have been I choice I would have made.
