The MX8 is seriously faulty

I bought my Zodiac MX8 in Oct 2011. Since then I have had to return the machine 3 times to have the gears serviced/replaced. What is most frustrating, is that the every time I return it, there is no temporary replacement machine (it does not even have to be an MX8, anything will do) - so while I wait for repairs, my pool goes green (meaning more inconvenience for me).

Zodiac KNOW THERE IS A DESIGN FAULT WITH THE MX8 but still don't supply enough spares, repair parts and temporary pool cleaners to their authorised dealers (in my case, Brandon's Pool Care in Fourways) to effectively deal with repairs ASAP, and cause as LITTLE INCONVENIENCE TO ALREADY INCONVENIENCED CUSTOMERS. Furthermore, the repairs that they are doing to the MX8's do not appear to work and only seems to be a temporary fix!!

My MX8 has 1 year left on it warranty. I hope this latest repair will ensure that it lasts for a year or so. After that it can go to the rubbish dump where it belongs (along with the poor quality pool hoses that it comes with).

Based on my experience with Zodiac products & the poor service from Brandon's Pool Care - I currently see no reason to support either of them ever again
