Chas Everitt Flat delivered in horrible state

I'm a new tenant moving into flat in Bella Rosa Estate.

On flat inspection, there was no inspection forms, only a personal greeting and "well here it is" gesture. I looked around and pointed out aspects of the flat that bothered me and got a shift reply from Anja, "don't stress, It will all look perfect once you move in". Problems such as, wall paint that needed to be repainted/holes filled etc. There was water leak stains in bedroom, as well as a big hole in the cornice in bathroom from water leak repairs. The front door that was problematic. It's the 5th of February, 5 days of my first month lease and all that's been done so far is polyfiller on some holes. No paint work has started, no leak marks on cornice fixed, especially bathroom still has grime between tiles and big hole in cornice. I understand I might not be a priority client, but R6, 200 per month is still a lot of money. I trusted Chas Everitt, being a well known company as you are, would not slack on such things. My reply rom Anja, "he contractors are waiting on pay, due to an technical difficulty on our pay system." is unacceptable, it's simply not my problem! I'm truly unhappy and feel played signing for this flat.
