I have recently vacated the Premises on Honeycomb, honeydew and the exit inspection was conducted, and to my surprise I was told that I won't be receiving any deposit back from the agency as they didn't not administer my entry into the premises.
When I move in a deposit was paid (R9, 100 was paid, R4000 deposit plus R4000 monthly rent, R600 electricity deposit and admin fee of R500) to Panda Mortgages financial services now known as Panda Group.
Now what makes me flabbergasted about this situation is that when townhousewerehouse took over the lease a month later in August 2009 why was the deposit not paid over to them by the previous agents, if they took over everything Lease agreement etc.?? and if this was not paid over to them why was this information not communicated to me immediately?
They have cheated me out of my money and after staying in that property for 4yrs no one bothered to communicated that fact with me. R4, 000 is a lot of money and I want it back.
