We moved into our dream home and received a number of Auctioneers letters 4 months into our lease. One of them gave us 30 days to vacate the premises.
I repeatedly asked Betsy to find out what my options were and she repeatedly told me my lease stands before any sale. When i contacted the trustees, they informed me this was not the case. I will be given 30 days to vacate the premises upon sale to someone who did not want the house for investment purposes.
I asked Betsy to please confirm her information in writing. Apparently this info had been received from her attorney. The e-mail i received from the attorney said they were in no position to make any guarantees like the one Betsy had been making. Surprise surprise.
We could not risk having to change our entire lifestyle and business practises because some little woman thinks she knows better then a trustee.
I am still waiting for a portion of my deposit to be refunded. When i ask her about it, she still says we could have stayed until the end of our lease. Dealing with this woman is like hitting your head against a brick wall.
Steer clear of Pick a Home. They should call themselves Pick a Headache!
