I went to pretoria Labour department with all my uif forms, there they picked up that I use to contract before I became permanent and had to get a letter from my contracting house stating this. The second time I went back and they went offline, we waited for 2 hours. and then we left. next time we went to Alberton labour department and they said it was fine that i contracted but my bank statement was missing the name of the person who stamped. So went back to the bank and back to alberton. now I get feedback that i should of applied before my baby was six months old. I started appling when my baby was four months. Why do we pay uif?
