I matriculated in 2011 and after receiving my matric results I decided to apply for remarks. After 6 months my school had not received my results but had received other students, and informed me that the matter was out of their hands. I called the department endlessly during 2012 but I was always put through to people who can't assist me or I was I just put on hold. When I went to collect my matric certificate from school yesterday they had told me that my certificate along with 1 other student had not arrived and it was my responsibility to take it up with the department. After visiting the department yesterday and seeing many different people who had sent me from campus to campus no one could help me except for 1 person who was conveniently not available. They told me that she was the only person who could help me. I went to see her first thing this morning for her to tell me it's out of HER control and doesn't know what has happened to my remarks (which I had paid for) or my matric certificate. Quite frankly I don't know why these people earn a salary if they just sit around and NO ONE can help you with anything and am shocked that these clueless people run our education system
