My brother has not been living in his residence for quite some time and has had tenants living there. They brought his bill to a huge amount and nw the electricity and water has been cut off, He has made arrangements previously but the tenants never kept to it, Nw he has evicted them and he is moving in, I called the call centre to ask if he can make arrangements and the lady said yes, The owner must go to the municipal centre and make his arrangements, Upon arriving there and standing in a long queue, The lady Mrs Chetty who assisted him said that the system is not allowing for arrangements, How is it possible that the lady at the call centre said that he can make arrangements and when he went there he cannot, He had to take leave from work to do this and it was a waste of time, No body can help him, I am sure that there is lots of people who has arrears and has been helped in someway, I have also contacted the ombudsman to look into this matter, I am sure they work on the same system, How is it possible that the call centre sees one thing and the municipal department sees another. When people go there they dnt even get advice as to how they can be helped in situations like these.
