On Thursday, 24th of May 2013, the municipal working came to my house and disconnected our water by taking away our meter, no notice was left so we did not know what had happened to the water until later that evening. My mother visited them the next morning where she was told that a payment of R7000 is required to get the water back, as much as it was a steep amount for us, we took this matter on as high priority because we can't really go for a day without water, we went around and borrowed and made the payment on Monday 27th May 2013 hoping that they will come to us on that day to reconnect us, but to our surprise we were then told that it takes three weeks for a new meter installation. We were not told this before, and besides that it does not make human sense that they could keep us without water for such a long time, knowing very well that there are people living in the house. This morning my mother has made a call to the municipal call centre where she was told by a gentleman called Crown that the people are on their way to us, we called again just to double check and Sbahle who at 1st told we hadn't paid then said our payment does reflect but we need to wait 3weeks
