On 14 March 2013 I went into SARS Hill Street, Randburg, for my 2013/14 tax directive. I had had serious problems last year to get this, - lost application, tens of phonecalls, three visits to Randburg - all because my file is in Bellville, WC, and, even though I have lived in Joburg now for 14 years, SARS will not transfer my file so I can get authorisation for my tax directive in Randburg yearly. This has been going on for years now. And is very time wasting, inefficient and highly frustrating. Thankfully, on 14 March, Emmarentia kindly helped me beyond the call of duty. She was acting branch manager at the time, and really helped me to get authorisation from Bellville on that same day. I left with my tax directive. A big Thank You to her for caring. That's all it takes - a little caring for the person in front of you. She really made me smile. Thank you, Emmarentia.
