We are financial brokers and one of our clients is transferring her pension fund and needs a tax directive. The managers of the fund applied for a tax directive but it was declined as the client's ID no that SARS has on record has been captured incorrectly so the tax no does not correspond. This is now the third time this has happened to a client! How can SARS have the incorrect information as the client has been employed by years and gets an IRP5 etc and has never had any feedback that her tax no is wrong or her ID not captured properly. Now SARS wants the client to come down to the offices but she works and has stood in a queue two days in a row without seeing anyone. This is holding up the process of transferring the funds. Please could someone assist us and the client in capturing the ID correctly. Her tax no is 1264060078
and the clients ID should be 6008080226084 not 6008080226184 as captured!!
