The Boksburg council billed me for electricity that I have not used.
About two years ago I noticed on my statement that the coucil billed for electricity about R 9 000, 00 for one months electricity usage. I quiried this with the council and it was investigated.
In the mean time I paid my account as per ussual. It was only after I on numerous accasions visted the council to find out what is happening on the account that I was told that they did not take the reading for electricity.
I was the one who inistiated the investigation on this account and nothing was done on the account.
I further learned that this account gained interest and that I was responsible for it. I queried it and some amount was deducted from the full amount.
I went to the council to make arrangements and they would not let me make arrangement.
I made a plan to pay my account up to date, hence I received a notice (dated 11 March 2013) stating that if I do not pay the amount of R 11 222.65 within 7 days, I will be disconnected. Last Friday 15 March 2013 I paid the amount of R 12 144.00. On arrival at home today (Tuesday 19 March 2013) I discovered that I was disconnected.
