To whom it may concern:

This letter is redirected at all the top management for Metrorail Cape Town.

Yesterday Monday 11/02/13 between 17h00-16h00 a train was stood still on Newlands Station for 25 minutes by the time it got to Claremont the train was cancelled and we had to wait for the next train, the trains I'm referring to is the train coming from Cape Town going to Fish Hoek/Simons Town, while we were waiting for the next hundreds and hundreds of commuters a man was stabbed in the train that was cancelled, the man was bleeding almost to death A) there was not a security in sight B) when he was taken to the help desk at Claremont station there was no where for the man to even sit, he had to stand on the bleeding to death while commuters looked at him.

Hence, disgusted and disgruntled!!! What type of service is this you are offering us as commuters, if we dare to step in your train without a valid ticket we are fined R40 and most of the times assaulted by your securities... So tell me where are your securities when, our fathers are being stabbed and our kids are thrown out of trains, what are you doing, you sit in your offices receiving fat pay checks but you cart us a
