Department of Home Affairs
Still waiting for my Citizenship & othe

I applied for my SA Citizenship in 2006, was told I had an outstanding court case to attend before they could proceed with my application. In 2010 I finalized the court case & obtained a new Police Clearance Certificate which highlights NO criminal records... After resubmitting The police certificate to Home Affairs office in Randburg & providing fingerprints, I was told to come back 3 months later. I repeated this process for over 3 years & still to this day I am still waiting for my citizenship. One of the reasons why it is not being approved or released is because their data is not up to date thus I am still coming up on their system as still to appear in court. Because of this, I cannot convert my French drivers licence into an SA licence, I have to arrange PR stamps in my passport when travelling abroad etc. On top of my Citizenship application, I am still reflected as Married on their system while I am divorced going back to 2010 & have the certificate to prove it. I have been living in SA for most of my life, pay taxes, own property & have a family. I wrote to Director General Mkuseli Apleni 3 years back explaining my frustrations by no answer. I need help!
