We need an unabridged birth certificate for my son the start school in the UK in Sep 2013. But we found out home affairs would take at least 6 months to get us one. A week later home affairs sms'd us to fetch our certificate. I asked [URL Removed] to explain how they could say home affairs was useless but I was still waiting for them. I even challenged them to prove me wrong because I called them ''. I would withdraw my statement, Michael the reason we got it so quickly, was because of him! I have still not received a certificate or some sort of refund. All can say is contact the director general (Vusumuzi Mkhize) from home affairs and believe me he will come through for you.
