When will I get this resolved!

I have had an issue on my '06 return (or at least SARS telling me I had not submitted it) which surfaced as soon as SARS owed me money on my '10 tax return.

I have been trying, without much success, to get someone to help me as I was in a situation where the previous company I worked for had gone into liquidation and I had no trace / contact of anyone who could help with my IRP5 info for that year. Many emails sent and never a response from SARS. not once.

Then this year I got hold of the IRP5, submitted the '06 return. Reuctantly as I am convinced I have done this before, and I also knew it would come at a cost of roughly R7k due to an annuity income, but I did it and found the R7k which I paid at the beginning of last Oct. This my account up to date. I submitted '13 return, was assessed, and sent a statement which showed that from 2010 to date I was owed R12k FROM SARS. I have been awaiting this payment to settle the R7k I borrowed.. I called the call centre today to be told I had paid the R7k so they placed a "blocker" on my account, and would only take this off once I went to a SARS branch to prove I had paid this?? I paid through e-filing!!!

What a joke. Disgraceful.
